My Advice: Own It.
Remember those Christmases of your lost childhood when your parents would plop you down in front of the babysit...I mean, television and force you to watch all the holiday programming that one of the three channels would show? Well, it’s almost Father’s Day, and the department stores and other retail outlets will soon be running all their Christmas specials, so, in the spirit of Season, I wanted to review this collection of timeless stop-motion animation classics.
Individual reviews of each of the volumes are below:
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
So the whole set is worth owning and should be watched with a mug full of hot cocoa (with whipped cream and a cherry on top). Don’t let the fact that they didn’t include any special features on the Santa Claus is Coming to Town disc or the fact that they force you to take Frosty Returns turn you away from this set. The classic shows are worth having and they look better than ever on DVD. Merry Christmas!
