Invasion of the Blood Farmers!

32 Days of Halloween XVII, Day 21
Escape: The Fourth Man
Cabin B-13: The Sleep of Death

Tonight we start with two old-time radio entries from 1948. First up, from Escape, which we’ve featured before…”The Fourth Man.” When desperate types find themselves adrift on a raft in the middle of the ocean, what will they do to survive? And then…Cabin B-13. Which we have not featured before (pretty sure of that) because only three episodes of it survive. And it’s a show that takes its name from a mystery radio play that was so popular its author got his own anthology series named after that play. Nice work if you can get it. This episode? “The Sleep of Death!”

For tonight’s feature, we have the 1972 Invasion of the Blood Farmers. Don’t you hate it when druids (or what 1970s horror movies thought were druids) try to sanguinate their queen back to life by murdering innocents? Such a drag. Fasten your seat belts for non-stop low budget silliness! Huzzah!
