At an event in 2011, someone asked Sir Christopher Lee about his supposedly huge collection of occult books. Here’s what he said to say about all of that:
Tales From the Darkside. A seldom-remembered anthology series that went for four seasons and actually had some great episodes. I do remember this one, since it’s based on a Stephen King short story that appeared in Skeleton Crew and I quite enjoyed it. This adaptation stars Bruce Davison.
And for tonight’s feature, we go to 1942 and The Mad Doctor of Market Street, starring Lionel Atwill. Granted, they don’t stay on Market Street for long. They wind up on a remote island because that’s what mad scientists do. Enjoy.
