First, let’s open with a brand new trailer–for Bones and All–because this actually intrigues me. Mostly because any film that counts Mark Rylance and Michael Stuhlbarg among its antagonists certainly has my attention.
At first glance, it seems like a backwoods retelling of the French film Raw.
Next it’s over to your favorite Uncle Lloyd (Kaufman) for Troma’s classic, A Halloween Carol. Few videos you ever see are going to be as riddled with both childish humor and clever references as this one.
Still one of my proudest moments on stage ever is helping Lloyd Kaufman and the Toxic Avenger recreate the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima while planting Toxie’s mop into somebody’s face. You can find Uncle Lloyd and all his madness at the Troma website.
Hold up…is this next thing a movie we appear to have never posted before? Yes! Yes it is! Such a rare animal. Now shh. Let’s observe Peter Cushing, Herbert Dom, Patrick Magee and more in their native habitat: And Now the Screaming Starts from 1973.
