32 Days of Halloween XIV: Day #26

The Hands of Mr. Ottermole &
The Dead Don’t Die!

First, a word from our sponsor. But I should brief you beforehand: what drew me to this is the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance by Lon Chaney Jr. But you’ll also no doubt recognize other character actors, including and especially Elisha Cook (also a Jr., from Maltese Falcon and a gazillion other things).

Next, we’re back with Suspense. Why? Because Claude Rains and Vincent Price on the same damn episode, that’s why. This is “The Hands of Mr. Ottermole,” which has been adapted elsewhere, like Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

And for our feature presentation, the 1975 television movie The Dead Don’t Die. Definitely not to be confused with the more recent Jim Jarmusch zombie flick. In this one, George Hamilton (and his terrifying mustache) try to clear his brother’s name after he was accused of murder. Also stars Ray Milland. Enjoy.
