Vincent Price being an awesome human,
The Hilarious House of Frightenstein, &
The Bermuda Triangle
The other day, we had a lot of Vincent Price (you can never have too much), but someone posted a great thread about some of the things Price did for the benefit of others.
Here’s a short statement he made during a broadcast of The Saint (from either 1947 or 48). I mean, we already had enough reasons to think he was awesome, but that ranks highly. And check out that Twitter link.
Well, one thing usually leads to another, so that led me to the segments that he recorded for the Canadian children’s show, The Hilarious House of Frightenstein. This started in 1971 and ran for 130 episodes. Here’s a full episode so you can enjoy Price doing his thing with all necessary context.
For tonight’s feature, we’ve managed to mine another one out of the 1970s…it’s The Bermuda Triangle, starring John Huston. A family on an excursion to search for Atlantis finds some definite Twilight Zone stuff happening. And hijinks ensue. Enjoy.
