The BBC back in 2011 brought in Richard Coyle (“Mr. Sock Gap” himself from Coupling) to perform some Lovecraft…among them was this excellent version of “Shadow Over Innsmouth.” Coyle was so good at playing a complete goofball on Coupling that he might not be your first choice to go after eldritch horror with gusto, but he does it and then some. We had previously posted his reading of “At the Mountains of Madness.”
It’s also available from Audible.
And while we’re on the subject…if you haven’t seen the Innsmouth musical video recently, you owe it to yourself. Seriously.
And while we’re still apparently on the subject, your friends and ours, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets have their song, “The Innsmouth Look.” And that was turned into this twisted motion comic.
That’s of course from their album Spaceship Zero, available as MP3 or CD from your friendly neighborhood Amazon.
Finally, that excellent Innsmouth art is from Jason Newhouse.
