Looks like Shane Smith and the maniacs at Vice are getting their own news magazine program on HBO. Looks like we may be getting expanded versions of stuff they’ve done previously, like for their online Vice Guide to Everything and the book/DVD they put out a few years back, The Vice Guide to Travel. That contained bits like the one after the jump, which is why you want to be watching this show when it hits in April. Source.

Okay, here’s the red band trailer for the Evil Dead remake. I just have two things to say on the subject. First, I don’t get it. Second, that is not the way to scrape your tongue.
In a desperate attempt to get me to give a shit about their Hannibal series, NBC realized that Mads Mikkelsen, while an interesting choice to play Lecter, wasn’t enough. So apparently they’ve thrown Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Eddie Izzard and Raul Esparza into the mix. Jesus. It might hit as early as the end of this season. Source.
Oh, Jim Carrey. As if The Incredible Burt Wonderstone didn’t look interesting enough, but then you make me blow milk out my nose with your bits in this trailer. And I wasn’t even drinking milk at the time.
Who’s not directing the new Star Wars? Well, sadly, not Brad Bird, as I’ve lamented before. But Guillermo Del Toro apparently was asked and passed. I don’t know…I think Doug Jones would have made an awesome Sith. Shame. Source.
