Day 6 of 32 Days of Halloween normally kicks off with something from your friend and mine, Boris Karloff. Here we have a pair of snippets that, while brief, are still awesome to check out. The YouTube posting lists this first vid as a color test for Frankenstein, but further comments make more sense: that it’s simply home movie footage, captured on the set of Son of Frankenstein. Watching Karloff goof around in full makeup is more than worth the price of admission.
And again, not sure about the YouTube description on this either. It says “Last Interview” and is only an excerpt: a brief minute or so of questions. If the comments are to be heeded, this was probably recorded in the 1966-67 timeframe. And we didn’t lose Karloff until 1969. So you think somebody would have snagged one after this one. Who can say?
Update: That interview snippet appears to be gone. Until we find it again, here’s a longer one from 1963…

With your reboot of that childhood favorite, maybe you can tell me how to avoid “Sesame Street”. Still, a brilliant podcast and the rebooting vision was sheer genius. Twisted genius, but genius nonetheless.
Thanks Kevin…I assume you mean ‘The Walking Dead on Sesame Street’? We’re all going to spend some quality time in hell over that one.
Oops…Sorry. I was distracted watching the NL Wild Card game and posted in the wrong area. My apologies.
No worries. We get distracted just by thinking about being distracted.
