32 Days of Halloween VI, Day 4: Cockneys vs. Zombies

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. “Widge, I know Day 4 is supposed to be something with ‘Vs.’ in the title, but…Cockneys vs. Zombies? Really?”

Really. Exhibit A: that’s Alan Ford with a machine gun in the picture there. If you’re thinking you recognize him, yes, he was in Lock, Stock and played the hardass antagonist in Snatch. That’s right. Is there anything more glorious than handing automatic weapons to a bunch of pensioners? The entire thing seems hilariously wrong in the best way.

However, as is often the case with films of this nature, it’s already opened across the pond and there’s no release date stateside. We’ll be lucky if it hits cinemas in a limited release, a la Attack the Block perhaps, but DVD might happen next year or something. Regardless, I need this. Bad.
