Tonight is the night where our theme calls for something with “From” in the title. Lame? Yes. But when you have thirty-nights to fill with movies, you grab onto whatever you can that will assist. We’re going with Universal’s first ever 3D flick, It Came From Outer Space directed by Jack Arnold, based on a story by Uncle Ray Bradbury and featuring amongst its cast The Professor from Gilligan’s Island. Makes sense that after this Universal would tap Arnold to do the film he’s best known for, The Creature From the Black Lagoon, since it was also in 3D. (And if you ever get a chance to catch it in 3D in a cinema, do it.)
Enjoy. And hey, if you’ve got some glasses and want to give the 3D a whirl, then the non-embeddable 3D version can be found here. Good luck.

The DVD from Amazon appears to contain only the 2D version. But that’s something.
