Starring J.K. Simmons (Juno), Lou Taylor Pucci (Fast Food Nation), Cara Seymour (An Education) and EmmyÂ® winner Julia Ormond (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie, HBO’s “Temple Grandin,” 2010), the film was an Official Selection of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and the recipient of the Heartland Truly Moving Picture award.

Once close, Gabriel (Pucci) and his father Henry (Simmons) have spent the last 20 years estranged from one another. But after Gabriel is diagnosed with a brain tumor that doesn’t allow his mind to create new memories, he must return home to his family. Desperate to reconnect with his son, Henry hires Dianne (Ormond), a music therapist to help engage Gabriel. Raw and emotional, the father and son are finally able to find a common bond through classic rock music in this touching film that “honors the ability of music to heal” (The Hollywood Reporter).
