30 Days of Poetry Audio continues with a visit again to Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Last year it was “Sonnets from the Portuguese XXII” but this year we go with a reading of quite possibly the nicest attempt at a poetic female-to-male “Thank You But No” ever. It’s “The Lady’s Yes.”
