Loretta Lynn: Country Music Hall of Fame
Diego and the Dissidents: Contaminated Waters
Grinderman 2

Two tracks from Rob and one from me (Widge) this week. First up, we have Loretta Lynn and the most excellent title track from her second album, “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man).” Basically, it’s same sort of posturing that happens in a lot of music…but this is a bit classier, methinks.

That track is from her Country Music Hall of Fame compilation, available from Amazon as either a CD or an MP3 download.

Next we have my personal pick for this week: “Contaminated Waters Pt. 3” from the album Contaminated Waters by Diego and the Dissidents. Be warned: if blinky video make you flip out for whatever reason, then avoid this. Will probably be very cool on psychedelics. I’m just saying.

Yeah, I know. Wish the track didn’t come to a screeching halt. I bet if you were on psychedelics you wish the same. Anyway, it’s available from Amazon as either a CD or an MP3 download.

And lastly, we have the opening track from the second Grinderman album, confusingly titled Grinderman 2. It’s from some of the same people who grope your brain with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. This is “Mickey Mouse and the Goodbye Man.”
