Well, tonight is generally Vampire Night here at the 32 Days of Halloween lab. Last year, we were checking out Son of Dracula. In 2008, we did a vampire double feature, and the year before that it was a vampire triple feature.
This year, we go to Bela Lugosi in the 1944 feature film I Can’t Believe It’s Not Dracula, otherwise known as The Return of the Vampire.
That’s right, Lugosi is not Dracula, but Armand Tesla. And he faces off against his archfoe, Abraham Van Edison. Kidding. It’s a vampire vs. human tale (with a werewolf thrown in), played out across both World Wars.
Update: Alas, the movie’s been taken down. So we’ve fallen back on the trailer.
