Since last year we were having fun with Italian director Mario Bava, why not go back to that particular well of spaghetti horror and enjoy Hatchet for the Honeymoon from 1970? (Incidentally, “Well of Spaghetti” is not a sequel to a recently successful CG-animated children’s film.) When doing some poking around for tonight’s feature, I knew Bava was a cinematographer, but I didn’t realize he his first three directing gigs were because the actual director exited the project. And from there, the rest is history.

Back in 2008, we featured Phantom from 10,000 Leagues! In 2007, it was fun with Frankenstein stuff.
