We did do some Halloween special stuff yesterday, but Day 14 has leaned in that direction as well. It’s sort of hard not to, caught in the gravity well of WTF and awesome that was the Paul Lynde Halloween Special two years back.
While we lucked out with yesterday’s DTV retro goodness, it’s hard to get good specials. But here’s a find: from 1977, it’s Fat Albert’s Halloween Special starring, of course, Bill Cosby. Later that same year they had a Christmas special too, so maybe we can go back to the well for 13 Days? Excellent.

The Halloween Special is available on DVD for just $7.49 as I type this. Not too shabby. Last year we had Bugs Bunny in “Broom-Stick Bunny” and then Year One it was the classic Frankenstein trailer.
