No matter what we try and do, Monday happens each and every week. You know what we mean. Even if you have Monday off as a holiday, then Tuesday is that week’s Monday. It’s inescapable. So the best we can do is try to cope. And by cope we mean have your brain jarred with a very strange vid to kick off the week. We figure if you begin your work week with some good old fashioned WTF, then it makes the next five days easier to bear.
Case in point: this terrifying commercial from 1970s Australia, for Uncle Sam Deodorant. Number one, the lyric says “And under your arm is the top of the world.” Seriously? Mount Everest is under my arm? And number two, is it just me or was the guy in this commercial the inspiration for the American Scream antagonist in Milligan’s Shade the Changing Man?
