It’s Martin Shaw as Judge John Deed, out from BBC Home Video. Here’s what they have to say for themselves:
The BBC introduces a free-thinking judge with a reputation for asking difficult questions and refusal to compromise principles in the 3-disc DVD set, Judge John Deed: Season One and Pilot Episode. Starring Martin Shaw (Inspector George Gently, Cranford) as Judge John Deed, the series follows the fearless and independent magistrate as he is sworn to serve State and Sovereign and avoid the influence of government lackeys along the way. Following the success of the pilot episode, “Exacting Justice,” Shaw returned in GF Newman’s series along with a strong ensemble cast including Jenny Seagrove (Peak Practice, Casualty), Simon Chandler (The Thick Of It, Coronation Street), Fraser James (Robin Hood, Doctors) and Christopher Cazenove (Dalziel and Pascoe, Hotel Babylon).
And we’ve got three copies of the set to give away. Want to win one? Enter using the form below. Enter once a day. If we draw your name from the prize sombrero when the contest ends, then you win. Good luck!
