We’re at Day 6 of 13 Days of Xmas, and I’ve been expecting somebody to make an animation or some sort of fan-made video to go along with Henry Rollins’ recitation of “The Night Before Christmas” for two years now. And it does not appear to be happening. So therefore, I give up and we go with the default album cover version. It’s taken from the holiday compilation album A Lump of Coal and is out of print. You can still get it used from Amazon, however.
Following that, a video with Henry’s take on the holiday from the CD/DVD combo Provoked, also available from Amazon for a reasonable price. It’s from one of his spoken word/comedy shows, which if you haven’t seen, you must. Seriously. (Update: Alas, this bit has been taken down. If anyone finds it again, please let me know.)
And of course, for all things Henry, check out his website, 2.13.61.

The last two years, the focus was on demented holiday music, and you can find the entries for 2008 and 2007.
