I used to watch Fantasy Island religiously (no pun intended), but somehow I never caught the episode in which Roddy McDowall played Satan and faced off with Ricardo Montalban‘s Mr. Roarke over a young woman’s soul. The storyline has been snippeted down to a “minisode,” showing here.

Yes, I think it’s cool to see Khan face down Peter Vincent. But maybe that’s just me. And yes, that was Adam West as the husband. And apparently, the two of them would get a rematch the next year in a story called “The Devil and Mr. Roarke.” (Roarke and Satan, mind you, not Roarke and West.)
I need to go back and watch the show, because I recall it being vaguely supernatural–the place was there to make your fantasies come true, after all–but I never recall it being this extreme. Next I’m going to find out Oliver Reed guest-starred as Thor in an episode or something.
