Congrats to all the winners. Don’t see your name up there? Don’t panic. There are plenty of chances to win. Find our contests here. And hey: subscribe to our contest feed so you don’t miss a single chance to enter–the day you miss entering might have been Your Day!
Can you please add a feature that shows your odds of winning a prize. Some other sites do this. I have been entering forever, yet to win, and would like to know what odds your up against for each prize heh..
Raz: Not quite sure how to do that, since your chance to win is highly dependent on the number of entries we receive. For example, if you’re trying for one prize and six thousand people entered, your chances are (presumably) better than if you’re trying for one prize and sixty thousand people entered. If you know how to accurately predict how many people are going to enter, would love to hear about it. I sure as hell didn’t think the Fool’s Gold contest was going to be as popular as it was, for example.
well I just want to take a moment to say thanks for the contests.
You are very welcome. Thanks for coming out to the site!
Yeah what I meant is some site for example actually showed you have a 3 in x chance of winning this prize, if you entered 3 times. I guess they calculate and show the entries in real time or something heh..
I guess. Too fancy for a site that can’t afford to pay for the coding it would take to get it done. But thanks for the idea.
