  • Roland Emmerich is directing Foundation at Columbia/Sony. What’s this, you ask? Wasn’t it just at Warner Brothers? Yes, well, that’s how it goes. Apparently having learned something from the Watchmen debacle, Warner let their option lapse to clear Fox from the list of people needing to be paid and expected to snag it at auction. Whups.

  • Mad Men fans will be pleased: you’re not just getting a third season with creator Matthew Weiner on board–you’re getting a third and a fourth season. Lionsgate made a deal with him that includes the two seasons, more TV shows in a development deal and movies. Source.

  • Pushing Daisies will have its last three episodes air this summer. At least we don’t have to wait for the DVD. But I think I speak for everyone regarding this when I use lots of profanity. Source.
