While Jake Shimabukuro Gently Wails on His Uke

At one of the ukulele spectrum, there’s the late Tiny Tim and his rendition of “Tiptoe Through the Tulips.” At the other end is Jake Shimabukuro, who proceeds to throw down on the George Harrison/Beatles composition “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” It’s not often that you will see “ukulele” and “throw down” appear together, at least on this site. But all I can say is Just Damn.

If he hasn’t already done this, a Zappa cover song retitled “My Ukulele Wants To Kill Your Mama” would be fine with me.
