So as I comb through the scads of fascinating talks, both audio and video, on TED, I came across this: the mad genius of Joshua Klein. He talks about how crows have hyper-adapted to live side by side with humans, and demonstrates the intelligence of crows by doing what you or I would have done, surely: build them a vending machine. There is method to his madness, as he will describe–but I find this stuff fascinating. And so do Leigh and Dindrane, who see this as the basis for another Sci-Fi Original spec script.
