Tonight’s pick is the utterly deranged 1965 film, Bloody Pit of Horror, in which The Crimson Executioner–who was briefly considered as a character in Alex Ross’ Project Superpowers–is killed and then comes back for vengeance.
Some things of note: yes, the lead is Mariska Hargitay’s dad, she of Law & Order: SVU fame. Also, the soundtrack is kicking. Also, it was filmed in PSYCHOVISION. Enjoy.
