The epitome of Saturday morning retro gold is here: Shout! Factory is releasing Hiya, Kids!! to DVD. Twenty-one full episodes across four discs, with each disc setup so that it seems to be a programming block from back in the day. What are the shows? Kukla, Fran and Ollie, Howdy Doody, Lassie, Annie Oakley, Flash Gordon, Ding Dong School, Time for Beany, The Paul Winchell Show, The Roy Rogers Show, Captain Z-Ro, Rootie Kazootie, Winky Dinky and You, Super Circus, Andy’s Gang, The Cisco Kid, Sky King, The Magic Clown, Kids and Company, Juvenile Jury, The Pinky Lee Show and Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. Just freaking awesome.

This is pretty cool. It’s worth it just to see the old Flash Gordon serials.
It kind of reminds me of growing up in Tallahassee watching Matinee at the Bijou on PBS in the 80’s. Used to love to watch some of the Roy Rogers, Gene Autrey, and Flash Gordon stuff.
Hope this is for big kids too! Love it.
I have great memories of Saturday morning cartoons.
yes yes yes
Oh how fun – for the the kids, Mom & Dad and Gramma & Grampa
i am so excited to watch this with the kids!
