A Dethian from Tales of Suspense #8 by Steve Ditko

A Dethian from Tales of Suspense #8 by Steve Ditko

Great find from Again With the Comics, where he’s posted a Steve Ditko story from 1960’s Tales of Suspense #8. In this story, a green shapechanging alien from the planet Deth comes to Earth to take down America so his buddies can invade.

Apart from making a lot more sense than the latest Skrull onslaught, it’s a story in which more happens in five pages than did in the entire first issue of Secret Implosion.

And yes, the Ditko art is really excellent.
