Okay, so…Chazzie award winner Johnny Cash. Is there anybody who can’t respect the Man in Black? And I’m not just saying that because he and I share a color scheme. Or lack thereof. No, the man was just badass in every sense of the word. And Walk the Line is the Man played by Joaquin Phoenix, with Reese Witherspoon as June Carter (and she won an Oscar for the role).
And Fox has put out the extended cut of the film in a two-disc set. You get an extended cut of the film, commentary with director James Mangold, extended musical sequences, deleted scenes, and a slew of featurettes.
