It’s no secret that we think QI rocks. We nominated it this year for two Chazzies. We wish they would air it over here. Some in this country have even accepted Alan Davies as their personal lord and savior. If you’re one of those strange, sad creatures who does not know what the most intelligent panel show on television looks like, check out their official site. Or here’s some video bits online.
And now, the second series, the “B” series has hit DVD. Here’s what you need to know about this joyous product:
The new DVD features all twelve 30-minute episodes along with a raft of exclusive DVD extras, including bonus banter, bloopers and buzzers, as once again Ringmaster Stephen Fry towers over the happy chaos as some of the world’s funniest brains including Bill Bailey, Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Phill Jupitus, Clive Anderson and Sean Lock answer a bonanza of ingenious and witty questions concerning all things Quite Interesting.
Here’s the other thing you need to know about it: we’ve got two copies that we’re going to give away. To the two lucky people whose names we draw from the Prize Sombrero. You know how to proceed, friends.
This is a Region 2 PAL DVD. If you don’t know what that means, you might want to check this out and perhaps this out before you enter. But that’s right…we are accepting entries from any country that is officially considered Region 2 plus the usual suspects of the U.S. and Canada.
Anyway, if you win a copy of this and you get it in the mail and you realize, for example, that you live in Kansas and don’t own a Region 2-capable player or the ability to play stuff that’s PAL video, we will tolerate no whining. In fact, we will openly mock you.

I would love this! I’m a big fan of comedy and panel shows on BBC Radio over the ‘net and would love to actually see a lot of these great wits — in particular, the late, greatly missed, Linda Smith and Alan Davies, since I’ve only been able to see the first couple of series of Jonathan Creek…
