Emma Roberts is the new Nancy Drew. And she’s been in a movie, which in a fit of obviousness they decided to call Nancy Drew. Directed by Andrew Fleming, it’s out now on DVD from Warner Brothers.

The difference here is that she’s moved to Hollywood to solve a mystery. I guess because it was more economical to just shoot in Hollywood rather than try to pretend the backlot was River Heights. Or…something. So you not only get the mystery angle but the fish out of water angle. In case you needed multiple angles.
