A Reference Guide to Pixar’s Self References

We’re big fans of Pixar around here. Something even most casual fans of Pixar know is that there’s so much in the way of self-referential stuff in their movies, that it’s almost a Pixarverse you’re dealing with. There’s the old man who appears in “Geri’s Game” and Toy Story 2 and the oil company from Toy Story is the racing sponsor in Cars–these are two of the more obvious ones.

But how much have you been paying attention? Jim Hill over at Jim Hill Media certainly put us in our place. When it comes to spotting references, we’re still strictly amateur league.
