Anyone who’s met me or just heard me talk (my apologies) knows that when it comes to my voice, I talk “tenor.” So I was a bit surprised when, in high school, I was a second bass in choir. Now, for those who don’t know what the hell that means, it means I was one of the guys who would sing really low.
Add about six more reallys to that, and you get these examples. Which are so low they frighten me. That’s just not human, man.
Update: That vid’s been taken down, but here’s another with him singing…it’s not as good an example, I fear. Here he seems to get so low pitch just dissolves into nothing. But still.
