What’s funny about this 1959 film starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing (who we’ve seen a lot of during the 32 Days of Halloween because, you know, they’re Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing) is that it’s not actually a remake of the original Mummy from 1932 with Karloff. Even so, not being a remake of it, it’s still a better remake of it than the Stephen Sommers atrocity.
Update: Alas, the full film has been taken down, so we’re falling back on the trailer.
