Two things have led me to post a trailer for The Zombie Diaries rather than a classic trailer today. Yes, yes, I know, we mentioned The South Will Rise Again but only because it broke my heart by never materializing.
First up, the rule on this site is that, generally, if it’s undead and bleeds, it leads.
Secondly, this is an indie horror flick with promise. And it’s already out on DVD in the UK. So it’s actually finished and there’s no danger of it never actually arriving on my screen. It manages to take the Blair Witch POV and make it look somewhat less than annoying. It appears to have the requisite amount of creepiness.
And let’s face it: it has guns and cool-looking zombies. Can I get an amen?
