This film is a classic not just because it features Lugosi in one of his first major roles after Dracula (although damn, they shot movies like you or I eat potato chips) but also because it features Lugosi and his Piercing Evil Stare, which here is a bit more comedic than anything else. But still: his character’s name is ‘Murder’ Legendre. Badass.
