It’s cool stuff like this that makes us want to turn to a life of crime. Otherwise, how would we be able to afford bidding on an explorer box done up like a prop from Lovecraft’s “At the Mountains of Madness”?
Je-sus, people. You have to go and read the contents and description to fully appreciate the horror geekgasm this induces, but here’s a taste:
- The dissected corpse of an infant Elder thing. pinned open to show internal organs, marked with pins and letters, within a leather bound display box.
- a specimen jar with what appears to be the solid mass portion of a “shoggoth” the slave race of globulous entities who turned on their masters.
- a strange intelligent made star shaped artifact, covered in minute holes and markings, wrapped in tissue
That’s the first three of twenty-three line items on here, plus the ominous “and much more for you to discover.” Totally badass. Right now the bids are up to US$672. Le sigh.
