Yes, The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo were basically what you would call Proto-Oingo Boingo, but only if you were being exceptionally silly. And speaking of exceptionally silly, here they are on The Gong Show which is basically what you would call Proto-American Idol, but only if you wanted us to thump you.
