Saturday Morning Blog continues its mission to piece together the misspent weekends of our youth, this time tackling the line-up that CBS provided each Saturday Morning for 1972-3. Shows included The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the pop-infused crap that was The Flintstones Comedy Hour.
Here we have the opening for The New Scooby-Doo Movies, which when I was a kid (and watching them in the afternoons when they got replayed later on) I thought was the coolest thing ever. A Scooby/Batman crossover? Man, for a young comic book/animation geek, that was the best.
I still would love to see a new round of Scooby-Doo Movies, where they team up with the likes of Marilyn Manson, the Frank Miller Dark Knight Batman, and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
