  • While Muppets they may seem to be, this Florida performance group is actually recreating theatre crafted by the Swiss performance group Mummenschanz in the very early 70s. I have vague memories from childhood of seeing these and other strangely Dali-esque performances on Captain Kangaroo, the Captain and Tennille Show and other staples of yesteryear television. This version is pretty lively and less haunting. However, I’m disappointed at the end-of-show reveal that pops my willing suspension of disbelief.
