Jack Palance was a great actor, both as the heavy and in comic roles as well. Hell, sometimes he combined both without even raising a finger. The first film I can remember seeing him in was the gloriously terrible Hawk the Slayer. He passed away today at the age of 85. Or 87, depending on who you ask.
