Nintendo made games long before there was anything like video games. They actually made board games, among other things. Here’s a gallery of their pre-1980 products.
Readers my age are now probably fascinated in the concept of it. Readers younger than me are asking themselves, “What are board games?” All those in the latter category, please go to hell. Go directly to hell. Do not pass Go, do not collect two hundred dollars. Just go.
The game pictured was popular in Japan a few decades ago and involved summoning up the ghost of a giant troll and using it to torture your older siblings.
Update: Unfortunately, that original site is gone. The closest I could find is this gallery of an exhibition from the Nintendo museum.
