Tower Records = Toast

Well, it’s official: Tower Records is an ex-parrot. That’s a shame. Tower was the only place in town where you could go back in the day when you had that itch for an album and it was late as freaking hell and no other place in town was open. They were always there, ready and willing to sell you what you needed for your late night fix.

As The Long Tail explains it, though, the cause of death is clear: Tower decided to try and resist change. And you know that way lies madness.
