Takes a while for me to get through all the magazines around here. That’s why I’m just now finding this bit in Wired, in which they mention a company that’s developed a black that’s even better than black! It’s black paint that has bits in it that will reflect the infrared light of sunlight (the evil, evil stuff that it is) and keep black things cooler what with half the sun’s energy no longer being absorbed.
Of course, we just need nanites to turn this on and off, seeing as how the extra five degrees my black car gets is a boon during the winter months. Ah, black. Is there anything it can’t do?
