The site Record Brother has posted MP3s of J.R.R. Tolkien reading and singing from The Lord of the Rings. He laments not having the entirety of the release, but I could have sworn I had heard some of this before: and a commenter confirmed it–you can buy a version of it on CD at Amazon. We love material read by the authors. And none of the songs will remind you of Leonard Nimoy’s “Bilbo Baggins,” so stay calm.
