Horton Hears a Heart

The truly silly and twisted “Horton Hears a Heart” is exactly what you fear it is: Poe vs. Seuss in a literary mashup:

His manner was pleasant; his tone, quite humane,
But something about him did things to my brain.
It wasn’t his eggs that made my temper fly,
Not the plate, not the spam – I think it was his Eye!

And if you’re bored and want to reacquaint yourself with the original Poe story, I recorded a reading of it here. Why? Because I abuse microphones.
