Review: Of course I’m going to like this movie. It’s about guns. And what guns do. The politics are subtle enough that you might think it’s only an action flick. But there’s also values and other junk like that, too. And as far as the “life of a 7.62” opening sequence goes, if I had an award to give it, I would.

Just a thought – I believe that the bullet calibre you mention is in fact 7.62mm, not .762″. A rifle-fired bullet 0.762 inches in diameter does not, as far as I know, exist. Since the bullet in question is fired from an AK-47, that would make the exact designation 7.62x39mm. Just a minor clarification, good review otherwise. Carry on.
A note: small typo in the review now corrected. James is right–that’s actually “7.62”. As in 7.62 X 39mm rifle round fired from an AK-47 that hasn’t been modified for standard NATO 5.56mm. Still don’t know shit about decimals, it seems. Thanks for keeping me straight, James.
