Archaeology Link-o-Rama

The coolness never ends:

First up, there’s a door in the UK that goes back 900 years. Sadly, though, the human skin they thought was covering the door turned out to be cow hide. Poor cow.

Next, they’ve found an 8000-year-old pirogue in Italy. A pirogue is not, as you might assume, a dance step, but is in fact a canoe.

Lastly, they’re putting oldest known Biblical New Testament online. It’s called the Codex Sinaiticus, and I’m sure some whackos are already trying to find predictions about the future in it. Oh well.

All three found via Fortean Times.
