From 1964 to 1965, there was apparently a variety show on television called “The Entertainers.” I’m assuming that this must have been a Halloween episode.

Two of the young ladies featured here were series regulars: Caterina Valente and Carol Burnett. The third young lady is Chita Rivera. They perform “I Enjoy Being a Girl,” then Boris Karloff sings a song from Mary Poppins.

Now I have an image of Boris Karloff dancing with animated penguins. And I can’t get it out of my head. And now that I’ve mentioned it, neither can you.
